Request to be Baptized

Jesus commands us to be baptized. As Jesus said to Nicodemus, to enter the kingdom of heaven, we must be born again of the spirit and of the water. Just as the Holy Spirit is invisible but moves with great force, so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit. As Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch demonstrate in Acts, once the eunuch believed, he asked "where is the closest body of water, I will be baptized now." The eunuch did not have to wait, and you don't either. The command was given to go out and baptize those who request it in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We must first believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God, the saviour of the world, the King of kings, and Lord of lords, and believe and accept the sacrifice he made for the payment of our sins.
